The Seamer Snakes have been eliminated from the 2018 NICL finals series in Adelaide after going down to the Toombul Tigers in their sudden death semi final earlier today.andnbsp;
Earlier in the tournament, the Snakes won 3 of their four pool matches to finish on top of the ladder and earn their spot in one of the two semi finals being played this morning - the winners to take on each other in the grand final.
After winning the toss and batting first, the boys were off to a flier thanks to a great opening stand of 31 from Jarrad Daniells and Will Lanca. Tragedy struck for the Snakes in the 3rd over, with Lanca going down with a torn hamstring, bringing back sour memories of a similar injury that Aaron Todd suffered in the 2017 NICL grand final. Unable to continue, the Prince was replaced by, of all players, Aaron Todd, who closed out the pair in style. Back to News
